Fixation is a photo series inspired by the Italian giallo horror genre popularized in 60s and 70s cinema. This work is presented on ViewMaster/RetroViewer (example of a reel below) and will be shown at the ALTR gallery in February 2025.

Motherload (sic) subverts traditional, midwestern, feminine tropes through a queer femme lens using gelatin sculpture. It acknowledges the way desires can be thinly veiled, challenging the rigid mold of respectability politics.

swell song is an interactive sculpture piece that explores the erotic power contained in water and wetness, as well as ecosexual intimacies and connection. The sculpture consisted of a large conch shell affixed with a small speaker, internally. Utilizing a Bluetooth MP3 player affixed to the back of the pedestal, participants were able to hold the freestanding conch to their ear and listen to artist composed, erotic soundscapes that combine field recordings of organic and orgasmic pleasurable utterances, moving water and viscous wetness with minimalist instrumentation. The soundscape was only audible when an individual picked up the sculpture and pressed it to their ear, which captured a sense of public intimacy when “hearing the ocean” in the shell.
